Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, and what happens to it.
Editable placeholder — this policy describes how the website as built actually behaves, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and does not yet reflect any in-studio data practices (paper consent forms, booking software, CCTV). Have it reviewed and completed before the site goes live.
What this site collects
This website has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no third-party cookies of its own. It does not build a profile of you, and it does not track you between visits.
Information you send us
If you fill in the consultation form or the event enquiry form, the details you type — your name, contact details, and whatever you tell us about the work or event you want — are sent to the studio so we can reply.
At the time of writing, no form service is connected to this site. Until one is, the forms do not transmit anything at all: they validate what you typed and then ask you to phone or email instead. Nothing is stored in a database, and nothing is sent anywhere.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To assess an event request against availability and fit.
- To keep a record of what we agreed with you.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing unless you have asked us to.
Third-party content on this site
- Google Maps — the map on the contact and location sections is embedded from Google, which may set cookies and receive your IP address when it loads.
- YouTube — videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain and are click-to-play. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play.
- Google Fonts — typefaces are served from this site rather than fetched from Google at page load.
Keeping and deleting information
Enquiries are kept only as long as they are useful for the conversation they belong to. You can ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact the studio at detroitinkspot@gmail.com or (313) 202-9737.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them through it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
